blueberry I was going by what many others wrote in this forum, I never read any of your posts. There's always a thread started by someone saying they hate their PhD because it doesn't interest them or they were mislead over something. I agree that 60 hours a week is ridiculous.
No the OP asked about where they can do a PhD, the person didn't mention experience at all. I'm not being mean, I'm being truthful and actually helpful because this person somehow did not work out that the whole point of this site is to advertise PhDs. Which is annoying, because there's loads of of such enquiries here but how can someone not release what this site is about? It called findaphd for starters!
As for my dyslexia comment, I am dyslexic so I know what I'm talking about. It actually isn't a disorder at all and calling it such is could be viewed as offensive. It's a different way of thinking, which involves memory and sometimes mathematical skills as well.
Well I don't understand two things:
first what's archaeology got to do with medicine and as you don't have science A levels you probably would have no chance of getting accepted onto a MSc anyway. If you're want to do medicine so badly, why even bother with archaeology? :S
Second: If you know why you can't study medicine, why don't you just take science A levels or the equivalent (like a foundation year or access courses). Looks like you're looking for a quick fix and there obviously isn't one!
You're just doing data analysis...not like actually contributing to new developments while conducting research and incorporating your own ideas, which is what a PhD will allow you do to. Not just during the project but afterwards in industry, so I can't see how the two options can compare!
