Thanks Sneaks. Yes, it was definitely for the best. I've just come back from the vet, it was very peaceful, just as if she were going to sleep. Now I've just got to tell the children when I pick them up from school. :(
I think I'll try and distract myself with some PhD work.
I hope you have a good weekend away, Sneaks. :-)
I've got a long to do list but I'm not sure how much (if any) I will get done today. I've just made an appointment with the vets for 11.30 to have our dog put to sleep. :-( She's been very ill (secondary tumours in her liver and possibly lungs) and would only have a couple of months to live a the most, but she has now stopped eating completely and is hardly drinking either. We've tried all sorts but nothing is working. She has not eaten anything for a few days and hardly anything at all over the last two or three weeks. She has lost more than a third of her body weight over the last few weeks. :-(
I know it's for the best, but I'm very sad. :-( Not sure how I will be able to focus on any PhD work today.
Good afternoon! :-) I made it into the university today and am now sitting in my office procrastinating ... :$ So far I have sent two emails, made one change to a document and ... written a to do list. :$ So I'd better get on with it... (sprout)
First goal: check through two books & take notes etc before returning them to the library.
(robin)
Endnote references sorted ... It really looks like I somehow managed to download all references from one paper. I doubt I'd be able to do it if I tried. :$
Next goal ... ummm... how to beat procrasination? Oh dear, I'm not very productive this morning. :-( I'd better sort through some paperwork, all my papers are in a real mess and I can't find half of them. (sprout)
Good luck everybody with job applications, paper writing, thesis revision, viva preparation etc! (up)
Good morning. :-)
My first goal of the day: sort out my Endnote references. For some reason I suddenly have lots in the 'unfiled' section - and I don't remember adding most of them. :$ Can Endnote automatically add the whole references from one paper? Well, maybe not automatically, I obviously must have clicked the wrong thing. :$ But can you add all the references from one paper to Endnote in one go?
