I try to be at my desk by 9.30am and I finish at about 5.30pm. However just how much work gets done is a completely different kettle of fish. Somedays I'd be surprised if theres 3 hours of productive work other days I can have done about 5 hours and occasionally more.
Some days I don't even put pen to paper yet feel I have acheived loads in terms of understanding!!
Try not to work evenings/weekends unless theres been a crisis in the week.
I used to get more done when I had less time!!!!
Even if its not an allergy the anti-histimines should help dry up a runny nose. Apparently whatever the cause AH will do the job. You know when cold remedys say not to drive thats usually because of an AH in them to dry up runny hooters!!!
Yeah yeah yeah...your naughty little secret is out now....
Noel and insominiac sititng in a tree K I S S I N G....
Well theres none on e-bay which surprises me as you can get most things on there
Insomniac...you have a Noel Edmonds fetish???
Mmmmmm no accounting for taste I guess????
Ah yes the snow that is alledgedly coming soon...hubby is trying to buy sledges for the twins as we speak...with the blue skies here I get the feeling that they will be using them on the stairs rather than the snow....
H......you need an anti-histimene (sp?) Have you any piraton? Its a closely guarded secret that it works just as well on runny noses as on hay fever symptoms.....I have cough meds for the kids that are laced with the stuff!!!
Mmmmm don't want to put two and two together but you don't happen to be a vet working at the Bernard Matthews farm do you...thing is one was rushed to Notts hospital yesterday with Respiritory distress and I thought of you.......turned out to be manflu though x
congratulations...gives me goosebumps to think of doing it myself (a long way in the future) Also Happy birthday in arrears!!!!!
If your supervisor starts having a go at it in a way that is not being constructive then challenge him then and there. Just poiltly stop him and ask him to frame his comments in a positive way as you find this a lot more helpful to your revisions. If you can't do this (I hate confrontations) or if he can't do it just make your notes on his thoughts and then when you get out reframe them yourself in a positive way...be a glass half full rather than a glass half empty kinda person!!!!
Hopefully there will only be minor comnments and you'll feel on top of the world....believe in yourself and in your ability to complete this x
ohhhhh does it work with anything lets see (keanu reeves) (the meaning of life)(wine)????????
Ohhh I am sooo excited here goes....
Coastman.....O man of mystery your reputation remains intact
Piglet bless you...well here goes wish me luck
sobs into hankie...but I want a sprout!!!! Stamps feet and sulks
Where can I get a sprout from?????? I desperately want a sprout in my message...instructions please (I have a large garden enough for a veggie patch)
Cheers Cryogenics...it would be wise to err on the side of caution and continue with the third person (see look I'm getting into it already.....I'm reminded of the auditors in Pratchetts discworld novels that explode if they refer to I!!!)Wish I was in a nice clearcut school rather than the wishy washy messiness of the social sciences...
Zelda...I know exactly where you are coming from...I'm from the postmodern/post structuralist ilk and my methodology is qual so thats how I feel I should be...however my supervisors are firm positivists so we are already clashing (their argument is how can I base my thesis on something I can't prove exists...well duh thats the postmodern point for me!!!)
Cheers, do you think it acceptable to use 'I' in the intro when stating your intentions or to remain anonomous throughout?
My 3 supervisors cannot agree and despite asking for clarification have not got back to me...grrrr...too many cooks and all that!!!!
