I don't know either there's a wild party I didn't know about somewhere or more likely they couldn't be bothered to come into the attic on a day when the gales make it like a wind tunnel! Just dozed off at my desk in a remarkably uncomfortable position, trying to revive myself with a cup of tea strong enough to stand a teaspon up in
Here I sit all alone in the drafty attic offices the department has generously assigned the postgrads, with no one to cheer me up or warm me up... trying to do the revsions on this chapter, and I have a case of brain freeze...please help! Distractions welcome! x
Did ok this year as well, alltho one slightly creepy gift! Because of my PhD subject one gift off my mum was a foot tall figure of a witch, complete with broomstick and pumpkin!! Currently sitting on top of the TV, gonna take it into the office tomorrow, should really unnerve one of the guys in my office, but then he winged when myself and a friend wanted a poster of Daniel Craig up, so serves him right!
A plea for help...what do people do when they've had a really, really sh*t day. I mean so bad you just want to curl up under the quilt and never emerge again :-( The slice of apple pie I've had has just made me feel guilty... maybe a mince pie they're more seasonal after all, but I'm in danger of entering bah humbug territory
