thank y'all.. i am so glad that i have found some ppl like me.. I get distracted all the time..
but I have a weird habit.. if I really need to work , I would woke-up and not see anybody till I finish my work , meaning I get trapped at my room , I never go to the uni that day .. it is annoying , but it is my nature after all , can't change it ! tried so hard to , but failed :(

it is really a big place with so many cubicles , so it is quite I am the only phd student at the department for the time being..
anyways, I like to read out load but I never do it !
do u think I should give it a shot? hahah
Hi all,
I have just started my PhD and I was just assigned a 400-page book. How many pages should I read daily?
I just don't want to get depressed of so much reading, and I want to grasp new info and remember everything clearly when I do my reviews for my supervisor.
Pls any ideas ?
Hi all,
I am new here. I have just got accepted to be a Ph.D student. I have my supervisor, we discussed things together and so on. I am a 23 year old girl. got a B.A only.. So my question is, Do you find the Ph.D difficult?
My prof scared me a bit when he said there will be lots of reviews so he knows that I read stuff hehehe.
I hated doing reviews when I was a B.A student. but now it's different. I will do reviews on related topics to my thesis which I think will be easier than the B.A reviews, where u r supposed to do reviews on things that u really don't like!
Anyways, I have always wanted to be a Ph.D student, but will I have time to cheer myself up while doing my Ph.D? bcoz as I said I am only 23!
Thanks in advane
