Thanks Doodles :-)
My structure of this chapter will remain the same, my problem is i am not very good at explaining things, they are not doubting my results but my ability explain them properly/thoroughly. At the viva the external examiner said he saw a PhD in it, but I took a few months off after my viva as working on it for three 3yrs constantly meant I was in real need of a break, but it's hard to get back into it. I will keep you all updated of my progress. Sorry about the vent, but I dont feel i can talk to people about it sometimes :-)
Thanks guys! I know I can do anything if I put my mind to it, I just feel so overwhelmed at the minute, it's not possible for me to take time off work now so am stuck with weekends and evenings. I try not to look at the whole picture but it ends up that i always do.:$

I have done all my other corrections but i still have to re-write a chapter, i can't concentrate and have only over a month to go to do this, on top of that I have a full time job. The chapter is about 20 pages long, it's the explaining things part that I have to re-write. Sometimes i wish i didnt do a PhD
any advice? anyone experience this?
:-(
Hey Everyone, I had my viva over a month ago, gave myself a break for a few weeks, now I'm finding it hard/impossible to tackle the corrections. I don't feel motivated at all and all I want to do is go out and enjoy the sunshine. Any advice to get me out of procrastination mode? 8-)
Hi Satchi, I wasn't too keen on LaTeX when I started using it, but now I would prefer it over MS word. I find it better and much less hassle than word when I'm writing equations. It doesnt take that long to learn how to use it. I learned as I went along. As for your second question I have no idea, but I'm assuming it should still read the same. The only way to know is try I suppose.
Good Luck:-)
Hi PamW, your university should have some sort of support fund for students in financial difficulty, you should investigate this and go speak to someone at student support, explain your situation, and they should help you fill the form. Have you tried temporary work with recruitment agencies? I know how hard it is to concentrate on work when all you can think of is bills. Hope everything works out for you.

Thanks Guys! Basically they went through my thesis chapter by chapter asking me questions about it, why I said this, why I did this, how did I get to this conclusion that kind of thing, really defending what I did, I also got asked about the application of my research. It was more of a discussion really, my main advice, which is the only piece of advice I can really give, is to know your thesis.
